Stop rust before it starts, safely and economically with SafeGard water based rust preventative coatings. In just one coat, corrosion control is achieved by using a water-based rust inhibitor that contains a balanced rust preventative system for use both indoor and outdoor storage conditions.
SafeGard water-based rust inhibitor coatings are stable, non-flammable, non-toxic, non-reversible emulsions that are easy to apply, quick draining and quick drying. Although they normally dry to a clear or translucent brown film, these rust preventative products may be dyed if so desired.
This water based rust proof coating can achieve corrosion protection with varying film hardness from very soft to very hard. This anti-rust coating can be applied by brush, spray, or dip coating. SafeGard reduces plant clean up; all you have to do is simply wash everything down with water. If spray equipment is used, run water through it until it is clear.
